BIP kursa apraksts:
The 5-Day Blended Intensive Program brings together participants to actively showcase the wide range of collaboration opportunities with industry and how they can be effectively used in studies to maximize study outcomes.
The program combines interactive lectures, workshops, and real-world company challenges, ensuring a balanced approach between academic knowledge and practical application. Lectures delivered by professors and industry experts provide essential theoretical frameworks, current industry insights, and methodological guidance that support the project work throughout the week.
Participants work in teams on real business challenges provided by enterprise partners. For students, this offers practical experience and exposure to professional environments. A key focus of the program is highlighting clear pathways for cooperation.
Over five days, participants move from understanding real-world problems to developing and presenting practical solutions, while strengthening skills in teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. By integrating lectures and enterprise collaboration, the program creates a rich learning environment where students and educators learn from industry—and from each other—while building a strong bridge between academic study and professional practice.
The end of this program, participants will be able to:
- Evaluate the role of academia – industry collaboration in teaching, research, and innovation.
- Identify opportunities for effective partnerships with industry stakeholders.
- Apply theoretical knowledge to real-world business challenges.
- Demonstrate teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills in collaborative settings.
- Reflect on their professional development through practice-based learning.
- Design practice-oriented learning activities that integrate industry collaboration.
